Impressive displays come from some very creative people.
One of our customers repurposed a wooden crate which, in the past has been traditionally used to hang on the side of a produce bin and used it to create a stunning, eye-catching table centre piece for her home.
We are excited to announce the new Bulk Food wall cabinet which features our new gravity feed tubs with spillage tray.
This stylish and elegant new cabinet takes up little space as it has a small floor footprint, however, offers ample vertical space for quite a range of loose bulk dry goods. The top shelf consists of 6 gravity dispensers with a handy, easy to clean spillage tray.
The lower shelves house Clear bulk tubs with hygienic self-closing lids paired with scoops for ease of dispensing. Every tub is generous in size to minimise time re-filling them.
Add lighting and your customer’s branding, and this wall unit will become an eye-catching addition to your customer’s store, plus provide an easy to operate dispensing station for bulk dry goods.
We are excited to introduce a new range of Plastic and Faux Leather Risers to raise and display bowls, plates or platters in your Cabinet.
The Faux Leather blocks are available in square, rectangle and triangle shapes with three colours to choose from being white, cream and black. Each set of risers has three different heights so you can create visually appealing and creative displays within your shop window, buffet table, deli cabinet or cake fridge.
Alternatively, you can also highlight your individual cakes and pastries with our white, frosted, clear and black plastic risers to entice your customers.
Visual Merchandising is the art of marketing products at a subconscious level to grab a customer’s attention and either entice them into the store or engage them to buy a specific product.
There have been many articles and blogs written about the importance of effective Visual Marketing, the subconscious effects it has on customers and how it can be an important factor to increase sales through customer engagement. Some articles even claim if done correctly it has been proven to increase sales significantly. (see link below to read the full article)
The main key point is to always remember that the customer has 5 senses, so engaging them with all five senses is the key to effective Merchandising.
Create interesting visual displays as a focal point which captures the customers attention. Use different heights to display items on a shelf or with Floor displays. The golden rule with visual displays is to group in “threes”. Three different heights, three different products, or three different groups. The number three simplifies a display visually in the customer’s mind, it creates balance, creates a focal point within the display and three is not enough to appear “cluttered”.
Creating visual “Scenes” to invoke a thought or a feeling, such as a Melamine serving platter arranged with cheeses, smallgoods and fruit. The scene creates a scenario in the customer’s mind of serving a platter to their family or friends and therefore can invoke an impulse to replicate the scenario.
Aromas throughout the store such as hot roasted nuts, or cooking demonstrations creates a sensory engagement in the customer which may also entice them to purchase.
Lastly tasting tables for the customer to sample your produce also engages the customer to possibly add that last item to their basket.

We have a new range of bulk food tubs that are Air-Tight. These stylish round clear tubs with a hinged slanted lid, highlights the goods store inside them whilst keeping everything fresh for longer by being airtight.
A durable rubber seal on the lid keeps the tubs airtight which is perfect for storing products such as loose lollies, candy, cakes or protein bars to reduce the product drying out and either clumping together or becoming dry and stale.
With a generous 8 Litre capacity these tubs are a perfect sized vessel for loose products which are sold in bulk.
Group the Tubs together or put them in rows, whatever the configuration these tubs will make a stunning display of your produce.
The humble shopping basket, a must have in any store as a tool for the customer to place their purchases in, but it does so much more on a sub-conscious level.
By freeing up the shopper’s hands and providing a vessel to put multiple items in… the shopper is no longer restricted by what they can carry in their hands nor reminded by what they are holding, and this does two very important things.
Firstly, their entire focus is now on choosing the next item to possibly purchase and secondly it makes the shopper temporarily forget the last item they put into the basket. So, on a subconscious level, shoppers are actively encouraged to purchase more in the store.
How many times have we gone to a store and when the basket is full, we decide we do not need any more items and proceed to the check-out. If we were holding individual items, we would leave the store a lot earlier.
Our new line of durable Polywicker Shopping baskets with folding handles are easy to use, easy to wipe clean and are a fresh take on the traditional plastic basket. Place them on the stand and they will make a great edition to any store.
How Large Food Retailers Can Help Solve the Food Waste Crisis
Data analytics have also debunked the notion that consumers require well-stocked displays to make a purchase. After taking an in-depth look at its perishables departments, U.S. grocery retailer Stop & Shop discovered that piling produce high resulted in more damage as well as greater labour costs. Finding new ways to display produce while reducing stock levels ended up boosting customer satisfaction because produce stayed fresher for longer. It also helped Stop & Shop reach an estimated savings of $100 million per year. Trader Joe’s uses a similar strategy by displaying their produce in narrow rows to indicate abundance.
A total of $8.9 billion worth of food was wasted in 2018.
The food waste problem is not merely limited to curbing hunger. The production of food uses significant quantities of water and land. Each minute, six soccer fields worth of forests are bulldozed down to grow food that is subsequently thrown out.
Food waste then ends up in landfills, where it decomposes and emits methane, a potent greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming.
According to the report, if global food waste were a country, it would be the third largest contributor to climate change.
Cellar doors and Bottle shops across the country are always looking for new and exciting display ideas to showcase their latest “Craft Beer”, “Spirit” or Wine” of the month.
We are proud to launch a rustic beverage display stand. Designed to house and display full slabs of craft beers this stand is a great way to showcase your customers newest Craft Beer line.
However, if your customer is looking for sophistication and elegance to promote a particular brand, we have just launched a new four tier, dark stained wooden stand with soft, velvet textured inserts (in the colour of your choice) to enhance the display for the more premium wines or spirits they may have.
Both stands are designed to sit at the end of an isle or near the checkout counter, these stands will no doubt be the perfect product placement strategy for many a new craft beer, spirit or wine of the month.
As a gift idea we also have custom made wooden beverage boxes complete with woodwool or soft foam inserts to package bottles of wine or spirits in a range of stain colours.
